CHRG has a special connection with our local Scout group – not only are they located right next door to Castle Hill RSL, but our very own Director, Ron Smith, actually attended the Castle Hill Scout Group when he was child!

In 2019, CHRG donated a brand-new ride on mower to assist with maintenance of their property and ease the burden for volunteers. More recently, we provided funding to purchase extra gardening and cleaning equipment to help volunteers maintain a safe and secure environment for the Scouts to enjoy.

This week, President Warren Glenny along with Director Ron Smith, visited the 2nd Castle Hill Scout Group to see the how the new purchases have made their property maintenance a little easier. We would like to thank the 2nd Castle Hill Scout Group for their hospitality – the big smiles on the children’s faces says it all!
