Castle Hill RSL Group (CHRG) recently hosted its annual Sports and Community Awards Night, celebrating the achievements and contributions of its 21 sub-clubs. The event honoured the players, volunteers, and supporters who embody teamwork and dedication in the Hills community.
The night’s highlights included Robert Attard, Premier League player for Castle Hill RSL Rockets FC, receiving the Hills Football Association’s 2024 Sports Person of the Year award for his exceptional skills and leadership.
Susan Hsiao, the heart of Castle Hill RSL Dolphins, was named Volunteer of the Year for her tireless efforts as Secretary, Welfare Officer, photographer, and more, ensuring the club’s continued success.
Brett Andrews, CHRG’s Head of Sport and Wellness, reflected on the night’s significance: “Our clubs are about more than competition—they’re about connection, growth, and community.” CHRG President John Payne echoed this sentiment, praising the unity and dedication that make the sub-clubs special.
